Global Energy Laboratories is now a Lonquist Engineering Company.
Global Energy Laboratories (“GEL”) is a Lonquist Engineering Company. Lonquist Engineering is a full-service mineral resource exploration, evaluation and development consulting group that frequently carries projects from initial concept and prospecting through mine plan design and mineral reserves determination. Lonquist has over 15 years of experience in the material testing and mining sector and was a key player in the “in-basin” frac sand movement that exploded between 2014 and 2017. GEL brings many years of experience as a materials testing lab supporting a variety of other services offered by Lonquist. In 2022, GEL was merged with the Lonquist Frac Sand Lab in College Station, Texas.
Together GEL and Lonquist Frac Sand Services provide the following services from project inception through mine plan design:

- Sand Thickness Mapping & Resource Estimation
- Mine Plan Design and Reserves Calculation

In addition to helping you test for frac sand, GEL can assist with testing construction aggregate, caliche, drilling grade barite, drilling grade bentonite, and provides a variety of other testing services, including x-ray powder diffraction (XRD) testing, ICP analysis, acid solubility, heavy metals testing, and much more (just ask).
